“Sasquatch Toys & Comics is one of those rare, local gems you can’t help but love the moment you walk in. I always have a great experience with the folks here — the staff is outstanding, genuinely kind, and always willing to help however they can. You can tell they’re passionate about what they do and about creating a fun, welcoming space for collectors of all ages. If you grew up on Transformers, Star Wars, Masters of the Universe, G.I. Joe, or classic Marvel and DC, this place is basically a nostalgia time machine. They’ve got shelves packed with vintage figures, modern releases, long boxes of comics, Funko Pops, and all kinds of collectibles in between. It’s the kind of shop where you walk in “just to look” and walk out grinning because something from your childhood grabbed you and wouldn’t let go. Fair warning: if you’re trying not to spend money, this probably isn’t the place to test your willpower — because you’ll find something you forgot you loved. My new favorite find was the full size Chewbacca and the Stihl chainsaw signed by many of the Jasons from the Friday the 13th movie series. Homewood is lucky to have a store like this, and places like Sasquatch only stay around when the community supports them. If you’re anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and check them out. Great people, great atmosphere, and a whole lot of childhood joy packed into one building.”
