“Toy Madness in Bakersfield is like stepping into a collector’s fever dream—and I mean that in the best possible way. This place has EVERYTHING: retro video games, Funko Pops, Labubus (yes, even those), Pokémon cards from every generation, sports cards (baseball, basketball, football, wrestling), action figures, anime merch, Loungefly bags, Hot Wheels… basically, if you can geek out over it, they’ve got it. The coolest part? Multiple vendors under one roof. That means every time you go in, you’re seeing something new—like a treasure hunt, but indoors. Sure, some vendors price a little high, but honestly, it’s worth it just to have it in your hands instantly instead of rolling the dice online where shipping, fakes, or packages that vanish into the void are always a risk. It also feels good to support a local small business instead of tossing more money at Walmart or GameStop. Plus, the staff? Super friendly, always welcoming, and they even keep movies playing in the background so it feels more like hanging out than shopping. Toy Madness isn’t just a store—it’s an experience. If you haven’t been yet, you’re doing Bakersfield wrong.”

“the good: store was pretty clean and there was a big assortment of toys and collectibles, The bad: everything is kind of just scattered if you want sports card there isn’t a Specific section you have to go to see. You kind of have to hit every section to see what’s what, one guy was making a deal with cards and there just wasn’t anybody at the store to help customers. Waited there with items in my hand to pay for about 15 mins and nobody acknowledged us. Left the stuff on the counter and walked back. It sucks because I just moved to Bakersfield and I’m looking for a place to shop for sports cards and this is the closest to me (Just my Personal Experience)”

“They had really great stuff, any kind of trendy squishy you’d want, needohs, dumplings, butters, giant ducks… The stuff is really pricey though, I got a needoh there for about five times what it’s worth.”
