“I’ve been playing a lot of Magic the Gathering lately, and not just at home (which is a huge deal for a homebody like me). And it has all been thanks to a new cardshop, The Deck Depot. This place has quickly become one of those places you don’t realize you’ve been missing until it exists. The space is warm, inviting, and makes you want to stay for “one more game”… which is never just one more game. The real magic, though, is the people. David and Geena, the owners, are genuinely wonderful humans. Friendly, welcoming, and clearly invested in creating a space where everyone feels comfortable pulling up a chair and shuffling a deck. It feels less like a shop and more like a community hangout spot that just happens to sell cards. If you play Magic, are Magic-curious, or just enjoy good vibes and great people, The Deck Depot is absolutely worth checking out.
