“I'm really into board games and playing TCG's. So, being new in Loveland I decided to check out my local game stores and found Grand Slam. I pulled up and went into the Comic book store, not knowing there were TWO separate stores. No worries, I decided to curiously look around. Right away I was greeted by a very pleasant lady working who was with another customer. As I looked around she still checked in on me time to time. As soon as she was free, she answered all my questions and had a wealth of information on the Comics. I then asked about TCG games and told me it was on the other side of the building. Oh, when knew? That employee was amazing, keep her! Went to the other side. No greeting on entry. A gentleman sat in a chair in this odd configuration of a store set up, without any acknowledgement. I asked about a couple board games. Wasn't too impressed with his engagement. Didn't care to be bothered and lacked desire to be there. I wasn't impressed, infact I was turned off by this store. I left. So I gave it time and decided to try again, maybe it was a "off" day. I was pretty much greeted in the very same way by the very same guy. His vibe was so off-putting that I couldn't run out of the store any faster. Come to find out, this guy is the store owner! What!?!? Sir, this is not how you should be interacting with the community. Regardless. I was so shocked at his lack of customer service and interaction. I was really hoping to find my LGS to be part of and help grow with the communities support. The ONLY reason you got Two stars is because of the lady that worked in the comic book store that day. She is the face you need to reflect, she is customer service. Thank her. I sincerely wish you well on your future endeavors and hope you find the passion in you again.”
