“I stopped by Metropolis at The Falls looking for some anime-themed Funko Pops and wasn’t sure where to start. I asked Brittany at the front if she could help me, and she was incredibly helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. She took the time to answer my questions and helped me find what I was looking for. The store has a very comfy, chill atmosphere and is well organized and clean. They have a great selection of Funko Pops, comics, and Pokémon cards, making it a fun place to browse whether you’re a collector or just getting into the hobby. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“Nice shop with a decent variety of items like Funko Pops, comics, and Pokémon TCG. I went specifically for Pokémon TCG and they had a pretty limited selection. On top of that, their prices were above market, and their trade rates were around 70% in case anyone cares. I understand having lower trade rates as a local shop, but pricing cards above market isn’t something I like.”

“My wife and I have been coming to this store for over a year, as it’s one of the only places where we can occasionally find Pokémon packs in stock without everything being bought out by scalpers. We stopped in as a last-ditch effort to try to pick up one of the Pokémon First Partner packs that came out today. When we walked in, we noticed that more than three boxes had already been opened behind the counter by the staff. They were hunched over a binder, laughing and going through the cards they had just pulled from the new set. One employee had several cards lined up on her arm and was taking photos. I asked if they had any packs left, and one of the employees laughed and said, “Oh… yeah, no. We opened them all,” before tossing the packaging into the trash. The girl leaned over and mentioned that 7 other people had come in looking for them as well, then laughed. I don’t usually make a big deal out of situations like this, but this felt like a taunt. I would understand if the employees had purchased the product themselves, but even then, opening merchandise on the sales floor in front of customers does not feel appropriate. We were not trying to clear out their inventory. We were just hoping to buy a single pack. Experiences like this make it hard to feel comfortable returning. With how much they over charge for products, this behavior felt like a slap in the face. I do not know if this is typical for this store, but this visit was disappointing enough that we are reconsidering coming back.”
