“I've been going to Dice Dojo and events they've put on for four years now, and they've been consistently kind, organized, and thoughtful. If you've been to lots of different game stores/similar events, you're probably familiar with people who clearly care more about games than people. The staff at Dice Dojo are the exact opposite, flexibly balancing running games (and a store!) with helping each participant feel welcome. Even when patrons aren't paying them for a thing, they still take care of everyone. They're also especially careful and well-informed around the LGBTQ+ community. The best game store in Chicago, and a much needed third space.”
