“It’s just not a good experience when I leave here. If I’m in the area, I’ll stop by to pick up an issue I forgot to get before or just browse. Yes, the selection is pretty limited. That’s not the issue for me, as I’m not looking for anything very specific. The place is just not a comfortable or welcoming space. Any questions I’ve had, have been met with snarky or sarcastic answers. Likewise, if I made a statement trying to talk about relevant books or media, I’m met with one word answers. I’m not asking to have a whole conversation, but on multiple occasions it seems like they just want to get back to their hangouts behind the station. I think I enjoy the more social comic shops not too far away from this one, so I don’t see myself returning.”
