The best thing, though, is the space itself, a lofty defunct firehouse. Very cool.”

“Your friendly, neighborhood gaming store epitomized. Super friendly, painfully helpful, reliably knowledgeable owners elicit an immediate sense of community and inclusion. The game, comic, and collectable selection is modern and well-represented across genres with a slant toward superhero and adventure style games. Battletech and more are also represented. In my first visit I asked for advice getting back into reading comics and the owner asked meaningful, identifying questions and sent me home with a couple different books that hit the mark. I'll be signing up for their pull list to get the monthly releases. Stopped in with my three boys and a friend and then brought the ladies back to use "The Loft" where they have a couple comfy loveseats, a big screen TV, plenty of tables for gaming, lots of nice, natural light, and even a stand-up arcade (Rcade? 🤣) game. This will be our new family game store. It should be yours too!”

“I used to like Rcade. I would go there to look for back issues of DC absolute titles mostly. I never set up a pull list there because I have all my new issues pulled at another shop where I have family working there. I get a call a few weeks ago from Rcade and they tell me that they have a big amount of pulls for me. I think the said 14 books. I told them that I did not set up a pull box with them and that I would double check my account on the comic geeks app to double check. My comic geek app showed that my pulls were set up with my other shop (Summit @ Jefferson Pointe! TOP NOTCH) Nothing was set up with Rcade, so I have no idea how it happened. A couple weeks later, I get another call from Rcade, I'm assuming from a manager or the owner, not sure. They were incredibly rude. Basically calling me a liar for telling them that I never set up a pull box with them. They said they were out the money if I didn't pick them up. Mind you, these were all mainly DC Absolute titles. They will sell. Without a doubt. The money will not be lost. I apologized for any confusion but that my pulls have always been done at my main shop. The manager seemed like he kept waiting for me to say that I'd come and pick them up or something. Again, it's a good shop overall, but this was a very unprofessional and disrespectful way to handle this. Trust me, Absolute titles will sell. Quickly!”
