“If you're nostalgic like we are, The Toy Pit is an absolute must-visit! We made the trip to Indianapolis for my son's birthday, and this ended up being one of the highlights of our day. This place is huge! Everywhere you turn there's something that brings back memories. They have just about everything you can imagine, from Funko Pops and action figures to retro toys, video games, collectibles, and pop culture memorabilia. We spent so much more time here than we expected because there was always something new to look at. My son found a Captain America & Thanos Funko Pop he'd been wanting, and for just $20, so awesome! One of my favorite surprises was the atmosphere. The outside of the building is covered in incredible murals that make for fun photo opportunities, and inside there's even a fun purple couch where you can snap a few pictures while you're there. It's obvious that a lot of thought and creativity went into making this more than just a toy store. Whether you're shopping for a specific collectible or simply wanting to relive a little piece of your childhood, The Toy Pit is an experience all by itself. We had a great time and will definitely make it a stop next time we're back in Indianapolis!”

“The Toy Pit is one of those rare places that immediately sparks a sense of wonder, and stepping inside feels a bit like walking into a TARDIS. It’s genuinely bigger on the inside than you expect. From the moment we walked through the door, we were pleasantly surprised by just how much they’ve managed to pack into the space without it ever feeling cluttered. Everywhere you look, there’s something nostalgic, something collectible, or something new that catches your eye. The range of products is incredible. Walls lined with Funko Pops, shelves full of LEGO sets, rows of Star Wars figures, modern and vintage action figures, classic video games, retro consoles, and so much more. It’s the kind of shop where you can lose track of time because every corner holds another memory or discovery. Whether you’re a lifelong collector or someone just browsing for fun, it’s easy to find something that brings back a bit of childhood joy. The store has a fun history as well, growing from a small local shop into a well‑known destination for collectors across Indianapolis. You can tell they’ve built their reputation on passion and community. The staff knows their inventory, knows the fandoms, and clearly loves what they do. That energy makes the experience even better. One of the standout features is their Buy‑Sell‑Trade program. It’s a fantastic way to keep collections fresh and give old treasures a new home. They purchase a wide variety of items, including action figures, Funko Pops, LEGO sets, vintage and modern video games, consoles, trading cards, and other collectible toys. The process is straightforward, and they’re fair and transparent about pricing. It’s a great option whether you’re looking to downsize, trade up, or simply turn forgotten items into store credit for something new. Even before you walk inside, the building sets the tone. The artwork on the exterior is amazing. Bold, colorful characters that are instantly recognizable and beautifully done. It gives the shop a personality all its own and makes it impossible to miss. Overall, The Toy Pit is a gem for collectors and casual fans alike. It’s welcoming, packed with variety, and full of surprises. We had a wonderful time exploring, and it’s the kind of place you look forward to visiting again because you know the inventory is always changing and the experience is always fun.”

“We stopped here when we were in town, and it did not disappoint! This store has everything! Tons of vintage toys and new toys, too. We were looking for Transformers, and there was a huge selection. This was easily the largest selection of Transformers we have ever seen, and we go to a lot of toy and collectible stores.”

“This location is one Indy’s best locations for locals and visitors alike. If you are a fan of vintage toys, Funko’s and everything in between this is a must stop shop. It’s one of the best spots to just roam and reminisce and the staff is incredible. It’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face.”
