“My boyfriend and I came here in November of 2025 and we loved the Gundam collection. Now that I have built a few of what we bought I am coming back to write my review! Solid gundams. Prisine boxes that come with all the pieces in unopened plastic packaging. Nothing was missing in anything I bought! and I bought a lot of Gundams! The staff were very friendly and kind to us. They were patient with us while we shopped and answered our questions. We felt more then welcomed. We will be coming back soon. We absolutely love this place. Keep up the good work! ❤️”

“If you're in the Baton Rouge area, definitely take time to visit Hobby Towne...you'll be glad you did. Ms. B will greet you at the door and steer you in the right direction to find what you need. Her husband, Andy, is sharp as a tack and a wealth of information. Andy, Jr. Is super nice and very helpful. The shop has a great inventory with respectable variety. Take some time to look around and appreciate the history in this place..over 40 years in business. They even have some pre-owned planes, engines, etc.. which is rare. This place is a treasure; i look forward to my next visit to BR and Hobby Towne!!!”

Excellent selection of nearly everything! And I mean everything. Plastic models, RC planes & cars and model trains in the three most popular scales. They have a HUGE selection of paint and wood & styrene building supplies as well as scenery materials. This is a hidden gem and a must see.”
