What collectors say

The shop looks nice but the Pokemon Tcg Singles are over priced. If a card is beat up it really should be marked down Im sure these people are just trying to make a living but after reviewing my purchases, I feel let down at the fact I could've purchased and paid for shipping on some of the singles I bought for the same price I bought them for at the shop. Its my fault I should've inspected the damage more thoroughly but hopefully they match online prices a little closer while considering damage as I collect and dropped alot of money that I could've gotten a much better deal for. I also had an interaction with someone behind the counter that made me feel belittled which I wont mention to not get them in trouble, but it was rude. In closing I will return to this store in hopes that the customer service improves and that the prices are atleast a little more fair for collectors not looking to drop hundreds on singles that are fairly damaged and could be marked down a little to match online pricing.

Yeah, sick of this place. Tried really hard to love it, they have an amazing selection of products and I love local game stores and try to support them in any way. Never once have I ever had to leave a bad review for one. This store has some of the worst workers I have ever seen. I know everyone has off days, but if you look through the owner's responses on here, you can get a feel for the behavior. They will happily disrespect customers, offer rude comments and act as if you are the least important person in the world to them. Their prices on pokemon can be absolutely ridiculous (check out collectible tags, they set a much better standard for the industry both in terms of treatment and pricing, not far either!). There have been many times we hear them talking bad about customers from behind the counter, and genuinely it is so uncomfortable talking to them. I'm sure they have some good workers somewhere, but the majority carry this same snarky attitude. Considering me and my friends are very quiet and keep to our selves while shopping, its really impressive to make us that uncomfortable. Not to mention an encounter we just had of their mislabeled prices. Packs are clearly displayed at the counter, some go for 3 for $15. Really good pricing, and we would buy some to support the store (even despite the rudeness.) Employee rings it up, and after paying for it we noticed we were not charged 3 for 15, but 6$ a pack. Not the biggest deal, but since we try to only by packs for $5 when possible, we mentioned it and hoped they would see the error. Instead of, yknow, fixing the mistake, they happily took the price off of the dispenser right in front of us and basically said yeah the system said differently so deal with it Even though the other three packs were from a completely seperate set that also said 3 for $15... Local game stores are meant to be communities for gamers to enjoy and participate in. These guys must stay in business from convenience alone, because with the many stores in southern new hampshire, this is the least safe and comfortable place I have ever shopped at. No other store in the area has ever been so disrespectful, and I just wish they would own up to their mistakes. I'll admit we should of doubled checked before swipping, but as someone whose worked on the other side of the counter, this is an easy chance to fix the situation and make a customer for life. All you are to them is $$$$, which is just so sad and pathetic. I really hope they get their act together but until then, just go to ANY of the other stores in the area. Collectible Tags, Midgard, Card Czar, 8-bit gaming, The Shop and Core Gaming are all fantastic options. All of them are nice to newbies, fair with pricing (as best as they can with the state of the industry) and, most importantly, kind. It isnt that hard.

Came in yesterday and had an amazing experience — the employee was friendly, helpful, and let me roll a die before purchasing, which I thought was a really cool touch. Spent a good amount of money and left happy. Came back today and a different employee completely shut that down. Told me rolling wasn’t allowed and was rude and dismissive about it when I asked why. Said he didn’t know “anyone who would let you do that” — basically talking down to me like I was an idiot for expecting the same treatment twice. Zero patience, zero friendliness, zero customer service. I get that policies differ between employees, but there’s no excuse for treating a paying customer like that. Consistency matters, and so does basic decency. I’ll be taking my business to another Pokémon shop going forward.

I placed an online order for some booster boxes of the Lorcana Winterspell and Whispers in the Well when they were on sale at $119.99 at limit of FOUR booster boxes per item. The following week, I got an email stating that my order was cancelled with no explanation. I called their store to ask why and the guy working there said he didn't know because they had plenty of boxes in stock (over 30 boxes in stock at the time). He told me to email their support team. I did and they emailed me back saying they are not available as CASES and that now they have a limit of one box per person. I went back to their website to check and they had increased the price to $179.99 per box and lowered the limit to 1 box per person. I emailed them back stating that I did not order cases of these items, only the limit that they set per order the week before at the sale price. They have ghosted me since then. They cancelled my order because the price of Lorcana boxes have increased since I placed the order. Instead of honoring the sale price and limit they had, they cancelled my order in order to get more profit. I hope your integrity and honor ( if you had any) was worth that money you got from cancelling my order. I have read several negative comments on your google page and most of the responses from you were combative and unprofessional. That tells me a lot about whoever the person in charge. Like one of the responses you said to a negative review, you told them to "DO BETTER". You should take some time to reflect and think about your actions and whether you can "DO BETTER" as well. This was nothing short of a disappointing experience with this store, definitely "NOT AWESOME."
