Mingus Magic Shop

★★★★★

“We were visiting from NJ and happened to drive by the shop on a Friday night, so when they were open on Saturday we stopped in to check it out. Wayne couldn't have been more welcoming! He took the time to tell us about the history of the shop, showed us around, let me play a few songs on his gorgeous Wurlitzer jukebox, and of course showed us some great magic tricks! What a fun place! Thank you for your hospitality, Wayne!!”

“My story with The Mingus Magic Shop and Wayne started around 4 months ago when my wife surprised me for my 40th birthday, and what a great surprise it was! Wayne took the time to tell me the history of the shop and Leroy Mingus and also showed me some awesome magic. He was very kind and supportive. We went back for the annual marathon in june and had the greatest time with the brotherhood the shop brings. I met really amazing and talented people who made me feel at home. Cheers to The Mingus Magic Shop and Wayne for keeping the magic alive. Really looking forward to our next visit !🎩 🪄 🕊”

“I love this place! Whether you are a magician or just a fan, this is the place to be. This is a wonderful magic shop in the Reading/Shillington area in PA. So many magic tricks for sale and some really interesting artifacts on display. The owner is very friendly and VERY entertaining! If you live in the area and haven't visited the Mingus Magic Shop yet, you should do it! They have a Facebook page and a website and occasionally have live performances. Visiting here was literally the highlight of my week. Oh, they are only open Saturdays from noon until 5. The rest of the week by appointment only.”
