“I had a great experience today bringing my 12-year-old son into Palmetto Cards. Sometimes it’s easy to forget that not every child has unlimited access to the internet or constant information about the card hobby. Many kids only have occasional opportunities to research things when they’re using a parent’s device, so walking into a card shop can feel a little overwhelming. The staff at Palmetto Cards was incredibly honest, patient, and upfront with my son. (Specifically he had two cards he wanted to potentially get graded) They took the time to talk through expectations, strategies, and the hobby itself in a way that he could understand. He isn’t an avid card collector or trader yet, but he definitely has an interest, and they did an excellent job encouraging that interest without any pressure.
