“Talk about a magical place! When you wldrive up you're greeted with an amazing image of a cottage in the middle of the woods. The scenery is fun and inviting. Then, when you get in you see a haven for Magic: The Gathering, cards, decks and players everywhere. The people are great, helpful, and friendly. Will visit this place anytime I am in Austin!”

“Writing this as I gear up to move out of Austin and making sure to comment on my favorite places but; I've been coming to this store for as long as I've lived in this city, which is two decades now. I've been coming to this store on a monthly, if not weekly basis, and I've never been to a card shop with more heart, energy, and sheer knowledge in the world. There's many lovely game stores in Austin, but Pat's, from location alone, to how the community comes around to it, to how they're just so plugged into the MTG community here locally, is the heart of Magic, here in town. Sidenote: Pat retired but that amazing woman and her team/family got me into the competitive scene of MTG when I was younger, and steered me out of a lot of pitfalls of younger adult life. Was never expecting life-lessons while I learned competitive deck-techs, but it's honestly a testament to the people and team there. You really cannot go wrong with the store, it's always tidy, always cheery, always cozy, and never once did I ever feel uncomfortable going there. (and to top it all off if you need to sell singles, this is the BEST place to do so IMO, fair pricing, and amazing experience) TLDR, Pat's Games is the most magical place in Austin, to play or shop for Magic: The Gathering things, and I hope more and more people get to experience the vibe this place has. 100000/10.”

“Pat's Games is awesome. If I could give it even more 5 star reviews I would. I placed an online order for magic the gathering cards singles 17 minutes before I headed to the store, and they already had it ready by the time I got there. The person working was also super nice and approachable, and I got some dice on the house. The outdoor venue was also very unique, it doesn't look like a game store at all on the outside but it does look quite magical! There's places to sit both inside and outside if you want a nice place to play. All the prices are also really good too- comparably cheaper than other games stores I've been to.”
