“Great selection of cards and board games in stock and product is priced fairly. Knowledgable staff, helpful answering questions. Chris and Logan usually work when I go in, they’re cool dudes. Chill atmosphere, they let us play for hours. Recently got into Magic, Star Wars Unlimited, and Dice Throne. Not all stores in the Cedar Park/Leander Area carry SWU and DT product so I like coming to Wonko’s, even if it’s a little further.”

“Wonko's is amazing for so many reasons. Theybhave a great selection of games, old school toys (so many old school Star Figures and vehicles) and they have the best selection of Warhammer models in Austin! Right now they provide a great place to play Warhammer 40k. They run an escalation league on Monday and Thursday evenings. There are two parts of the store, the section with all of the merchandise, a few gaming tables another whole section completely dedicated to gaming with tables, a couch, a projector and so much great terrain. The store owner is amazing, I've never left this store thinking that anyone wasn't helpful and extremely nice. Wonko's doesn't feel much like a store, but rather a friend's place with great stuff to buy.”

“This place is so much more than a store. Wonko's is a vital place where community is fostered in the best way. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and I've often seen them go above and beyond to lend an ear to a patron having a bad day or beyond. The people hanging out here are usually very supportive and helpful too, so I never feel like I can't be included in what's going on. The AoS crowd is full of the best kind of people, and the My Hero dorks have fully embraced my son in a way he hasn't had anywhere else. I often find myself just enjoying the hobby side of most of the games here, like Moonstone and Crisis Protocol, Warhammer, etc but it's ok because I always find the paint I need, and they always have the new cool stuff here. I also haven't seen this kind of Warhammer selection anywhere else. I've been to a few other local game stores and even the Games Workshop store, and they haven't had as much. And if I ever need anything, I just let one of the guys at the counter know and they literally order it for me. It's also been really cool to see things get really organized in their store in the last two years, they have a great system where you submit magic card lists online and they'll just pull everything you need and let you know, and you can come pick it up. No waiting around. I love this store, I bring my teenagers here all the time and they always have something they love. My daughter loves the gigantic D&D miniatures wall, and dozens of pretty click clack dice, and the little section up front for kids with stuffies. And the games!! The board games wall is always exciting, they have a cool little new games table area but they also have a code system so you can pick out a game without pressure if you want. Sometimes it's nice to just come in and be like, I need these two colors to be able to get a game that's medium difficult for 4 people...and then pick one out. Then I can bring it to the register and pretend I know what I'm talking about. Hahaha!! I could ramble forever but you get the idea. Great store, great selections, great people. 👍”
