What collectors say
★★★★★
“If you are a Pokemon fan in Dallas, Indigo Plateau is a must-visit. It is tucked away on the second floor of a building on N. Bishop Ave in the Bishop Arts District, so keep an eye out for the signs on your way up. The hunt to find it is worth it. The selection is genuinely impressive. They carry everything from modern singles and sealed packs to vintage and Japanese cards, all in one compact but well-organized space. It is the kind of store where you can find something specific you have been hunting for, or just browse for an hour and lose track of time. Floor-to-ceiling cards, figures, stickers, and collectibles make the space feel like a treasure trove. The staff knows their stuff. They were helpful without being pushy, and they took the time to explain the differences between card sets when I had questions. It is clear this is a passion project, not just a retail operation. The family-owned feel comes through immediately. Pricing is fair compared to big box stores, and the quality of the inventory is noticeably better. Whether you are a 90s kid chasing nostalgia or a competitive player looking for singles, this place delivers. One note: check their hours before heading over. They are closed on Tuesdays and open noon to 7 most other days. Worth planning around.”

“First time I went the employee was super cool and knew his stuff, the second time I went with girlfriend there was a different employee there and he was a bit rude and made a small comment but good selection to buy but need more stuff to buy”
★★★
“Trying to fill my master set and there were actually a handful of cards I needed but the guy said he didn't have the authority to negotiate any prices since they just updated all theirs prices. I've been to many card shows and card shops and never had any said no to matching market prices. There are plenty other vendors to shop from. The only benefit for shoppers is if a value has increased higher than their posted price so check out the high priced cards (unless they will change the prices on their end before check out).”
★★
“Cool collector’s shop, especially if you’re into Pokémon cards. Just a heads up for first-time visitors, a lot of the Pokémon plushies, posters, and other collectibles around the store are only decorations and not actually for sale ( keep in mind it's more things that the shop is displaying then they are actually selling ) . It can be a little confusing because they look like items you could buy, so you might get excited for nothing. A small sign letting people know they’re just for display would probably help avoid that confusion.”
