“My husband and I have been visiting Contrarian's almost since they opened. 😄 We regularly stop by to see what is new in stock and enjoy going through the board game library to experience different board games that we ordinarily wouldn't purchase for ourselves. Everyone that we have encountered that works there has always been really helpful and kind. They occasionally will do special games and special drinks depending on the time of year and the holidays. It's definitely one of our go-to places when we are in the Salmon Creek area. 😊”

“I will forever be thrilled by this place’s existence. It is a lovely little cafe with delicious drinks, good food, & IMPECCABLE vibes. Their retail selection of games is fantastic. Their board game library is not huge but is very diverse & interesting. The tables are large & most have full-size playmats, which is awesome. No fee to play, either! Their event calendar is packed & almost always enticing, no matter what your gaming preferences. I honestly cannot recommend Contrarian’s enough. It’s one of the best game stores I’ve ever found, & I’m so glad it’s MY local game store.”

In the bathroom they offer female products Just. I find that to be incredibly sweet. I also like how they have support bars in place for people. Staff is friendly. They sell coffee and snacks here.”

“Wow! What a gem! Friendly, welcoming, cozy, and so cool! The staff were so friendly and laid-back. The customers and visitors were all obviously having a great time. This is a lovely place for game enthusiasts to gather with friends and have fun, an oasis for those that need a gamer-friendly space, and super welcoming for anyone just curious to see cool board games.
