What collectors say
★★★★★
“Awesome shop, has a great selection of new and old comics. Been collecting Moon Knight comics and have grabbed a bunch from the early 80s which to me is really cool. Staff is very friendly and love supporting their business.”
★★★★★
“The first time I visited funky town, I had 2 of my children with me. I had always wanted to check it out, so as soon as I saw they had changed locations to a frequently visited area, I took that and ran! First, I love the atmosphere and the friendly down to earth, chill demeanor you'd expect from the people that work there. They're ready to help you find anything, they even went out of their way to look for a darth maul comic for my son! Moving on to the vintage toy collection, 100/10. We found so many retro star wars toys and for a steal! I loaded up on them for my son's upcoming birthday! They have a variety of new and used vinyl which I also loved, given I've been enjoying listening to and using vinyl since I was a child with my dad! The comic selection is enormous and from x men to batman to star wars and so so much more, this place has everything you could ever want in a comic and vinyl store. The last thing id like to mention is they also have a points system for every purchase you make! So really, what reason could you have NOT to check it out? I've been back multiple times and will continue visiting!”
★★★★★
“They always have fresh new and used vinyls, and are happy to play anything that's unsealed so you can hear it before you buy it. There is something from every genre and era here. They have a diverse comic section as well. Great people to hang around and chat music or whatever with. Update: the new store in Camillus/Fairmont is great too! It's clean, bright and well organized. Great inventory of comics, action figures and records. One stop shop for my nerd hobbies!”
★★★★★
“This is an awesome place with something for everyone. From Taylor Swift, to Star Wars and Marvel, and all the quirky and wonderful in-betweens, you will not be disappointed. The staff are extremely warm, friendly and accommodating. They are educated about their stock and have many years of experience working in the comic-world. The selection is vast, you could search through their collections for hours. You have to stop in!!”
