“As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series, I pay attention to places with energy and imagination, and The Comic Book Shop in Northtown Mall is one of the more lively locations I’ve seen. This store sits on the second level of the mall and immediately stands out. When I arrived, there was a game session going on in the back, which added a lot of energy to the space. The layout feels like two stores merged together, with a front section for comics, collectibles, and the register, and a large game and gathering area in the back. The selection leans heavily into manga and larger-format items, along with costumes, props, and display pieces. Behind the counter, there are swords and other themed items, along with a wide range of graphic T-shirts. While working on my Maui Desire Romance Series, I also notice how spaces bring people together, and this store clearly does that. It looks like they host regular events, especially on Friday nights, and the back area is set up well for it. The staff is friendly and welcoming right when you walk in, and the overall feel is bright, active, and fun. It’s one of the more energetic comic shops in the Spokane area, with a strong community vibe and plenty to explore.”

“So the supposed (Brackets) 1 being a new player and 5 being competitive. I sign up for bracket 1 because I've been playing for a week. Thinking I might have a chance with similar decks. Nope.....I get put up against a keshkar deck? Anyway boardwioes everyone on the 5th turn with a infinite combo. No wonder no one was hardly there playing. Will never spend another nickel at that shop.beyond unfair and zero fun being new and going against 1000 dollar decks. The only great experience was echo the cashier! She's was super friendly to me and my wife and even bought us a card box just to be nice! Lovezzzź her!”
